Conveniently located just 15 minutes from Little Rock. Home to the largest C-130 base in the world, the Little Rock Air Force Base is a major part of the community. Jacksonville offers numerous activities for all age groups. With a community center that has an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, racquetball courts and a skate park a long with class and convention space. With the recent creation of the Jacksonville/North Pulaski School District, Jacksonville is positioned for a growth explosion.

The Little Rock Air Force Base

Home to the 19th Airlift Wing and the largest fleet of C-130 Hercules transport planes in the world. They have supplies humanitarian airlift relief to victims of disasters, as well as airdrops into the heart of operations in hostile areas. The base is also home to the 189th Airlift Wing of the Arkansas Air National Guard. LRAFB has more than 8,000 active-duty military and civilian members and approximately 15,000 family members living and working in the area. The base is the 6th largest employer in the state and the largest employer in the community of Jacksonville. The total annual economic impact to the region is over $850 million annually.
